I indulged myself creating a fun sweet and spooky card for Paul’s birthday recently, putting some of my new Waffle Flower products to good use! Get all the details for my Sweet Ghosts birthday card below.

Sweet Ghosts Birthday Card

I fell in love with most of the Halloween themed products from Waffle Flower this year! These little ghosties were hard to resist, and that pop up star die is already a firm favourite and has been getting a good work out in my craft room!

Die cut birthday card inspiration featuring Waffle Flower Crafts products, die cutting, ink blending, stenciling, heat embossing and hot foiling.

I die cut the Pop Up Star design twice on my ink blended background (thanks to my friend Sue for the ink colour suggestions), then used the coordinating stencil to apply Versamark ink to the stars, before heat embossing with a gold embossing powder. The moon was stenciled using Distress Inks on a die cut circle. I used a star from a Mama Elephant cover die for one of the ghosts to hold. Finally, I added a hot foiled sentiment to turn it into a birthday card! The ghosts, moon and sentiments are all popped up on foam pads so the card has lots of fun dimension.
