You may have seen me mention last year that I fell back in love with die cutting thanks to some crafty friends encouraging me to take a look at Spellbinders Paper Arts* more recent lines! Well, I signed up for their Club membership* last year too, and have really been enjoying it. When I was invited to work with some of the club products for Spellbinders in 2025 I was more than happy to say yes! So here we are, the January 2025 Club kit subscriptions* are open, and I can start showing you what I’ve been up to with the beautiful new products.
If you are new to the Spellbinders Club kits, you have from the 6th to the 27th of each month to sign up and receive that month’s kits. You can sign up for as many as you like, or if you are a “gotta have it all” crafter, you can get the best value with the Deluxe Caboodle Kit*
Take Flight & Nature’s Dance Card
I received three of the subscription kits for January – Clear Stamp & Die of the Month JAN2025*, BetterPress of the Month JAN2025* and Embossing Folder of the Month JAN2025*. They are all beautiful. I’ve really been enjoying embossing folders again lately, thanks to the Spellbinders club, and this one is a really lovely versatile one.
I’ve said it a few times now, but I love using BetterPress plates* in my Glimmer Hot Foil System*, so I did just that with this beautiful butterfly set. There are also some lovely sentiments in the BetterPress of the Month* set, which you will see soon on some of the other cards I’ve created. I hot-foiled on an alcohol ink piece I created on Yupo, then die cut using the coordinating die in the set. I love alcohol ink backgrounds for butterfly wings.
