I created today’s card last year, for a dear friend, but never got round to sharing it here. I found the pictures and video footage the other day, so decided that I would upload this one as one of my YouTube member exclusive videos for February. Apologies that I am a little behind in sharing the exclusive videos – February has been a bit challenging, and has also gone by far faster than I can keep up with! If I don’t manage to get three exclusive videos uploaded before the end of February, I will make up for it in March.
Rose & Chamomile Sympathy Card
Sympathy cards are not my favourite to create. When I do need one for I will take my time with it and try to create something special. Taking the time to colour something a little more involved is quite therapeutic, and as we’re often feeling quite sad and reflective ourselves when creating sympathy cards, I think that’s a really nice benefit to this hobby. We get to sit with things and take that time while creating something beautiful to send some small comfort to loved ones.
Marcella Hawley’s Power Poppy stamps have long been some of my favourites for florals.

I stamped the images on my favourite Make it Colour Blending Card before colouring with Copic markers and adding a little extra pencil shading at the end.
