Little Cutie Mermaids & Seahorse Scene Card

This week’s challenge is Mixed Media Mermaids. Now, don’t freak out and assume this one isn’t for you. All you have to do is incorporate some mixed media into your mermaid cards. This can be as simple as a little ink blending, stencilling, some background splatter. Go as crazy with it as you like, just make sure you use a Stamping Bella mermaid stamp! As you can see, I kept it really simple and clean. What’s mixed media about my card? I’ve coloured using coloured pencils, ink blended the background, added some splatter with white paint, and some die cut seaweed from an alcohol ink background piece.

There are no rules for mixed media – it’s all about having fun playing with your supplies and mixing things up to create things that are beautifully and uniquely you.
