I’ve been having more fun with the Cheerful Chirps collection* from Spellbinders. On today’s card I used the Free Hugs Oscar die set*. Firstly, the name is just adorable. Then you’ve got this really cute little bird that you can mix and match with the other dies and products in the collection for some real creative fun.
I paired Oscar with the foliage from the Flying High die set*, and the “hugs” is part of the sentiment that comes in the set with Oscar. The 3D embossing folder from the collection gave the perfect background texture. I’ve seen a couple of other designers have embossed this one with black cardstock, and that gives such a luxurious and dramatic effect, I think I may have to try that next!
