I took last week off unexpectedly – the heat absolutely melted my brain. The weather has freshened up now, and I’m back to share the news that Spellbinders Club of The Month* kit subscriptions for July are now open! As usual, the July kits are Christmas/winter themed, perfect for getting started on all those festive makes.  I’ve got some fun Christmas cards to share, starting with a little trio today.

If you’re not already a club member you can check them out here: Spellbinders Club of the Month*. You can sign up between 6th and 27th of each month and receive that month’s kits. You can sign up for as many as you like, or if you are a “gotta have it all” crafter, you can get the best value with the Deluxe Caboodle Kit*, which also includes a bonus item.

I received five of the kits for July: Clear Stamp & Die of the Month*, Embossing Folder of the Month*, BetterPress Plate of the Month*, Large Die of the Month* and Small Die of the Month* plus the add-on die that you get with the Deluxe Caboodle Kit*.

First up I have a set of cards I created using the Small Die of the Month: Cocoa Greetings*, which is an adorable set that creates Christmas themed mugs – Santa, a penguin and a reindeer. This one also works with the bonus add on die set you get in the Deluxe Caboodle kit, which I will show in another post soon!

I have a bit of a thing for arch shaped cards and elements at the moment! All three cards were cut using the same die set and feature the same elements, just different mug designs and sentiments. I used the Frosted Stitch embossing folder* on each of them as a backdrop for the mugs. Everything was cut from Spellbinders ColorWheel Cardstock*which has become my go to. I don’t quite have packs of all of the colours yet, but I’m getting there! Just re-ordered Poppy and Cosmic Sky (for the third time because I am a blue girl).

Dies & Tools Used: Spellbinders Platinum Die Cut Machine*, Spellbinders Small Die of the Month: Cocoa Greetings*,  Stay Snuggly Clear Stamp & Die Set*,   Classic Pooh Alphabet, Numbers & More die set*, Make a Wish Arch Labels die set*, Frosted Stitch embossing folder*, Everlasting Circles die set*,
Other Supplies:
Spellbinders ColorWheel Cardstock*, Spellbinders Adhesive Foam Squares*, Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue*, Sakura White Gelly Roll pen, sequins,

I used the Stay Snuggly Clear Stamp & Die Set* for the sentiments, and added the “merry” on each card using the Classic Pooh Alphabet, Numbers & More die set*. Both this set and the Classic Mouse Alphabet and Number sets* are great for general use, not just Pooh and Mouse themed cards!

Love the penguin! It might be my favourite of the three options.
