I’ve been having some more fun playing with the Spellbinders Classic Mouse collection*. If you missed my previous posts featuring products from the collection, you can find those HERE and HERE. Today I’ve got a BetterPress card to share.
I wanted the letterpress effect, so I used the BetterPress Cotton Card* for this one with the BetterPress Black Inkpad*, and did a little watercolour pencil colouring. You can also use your press plates on your favourite cardstock with your usual ink, for whatever medium you like to colour in. You just won’t get the full letterpress effect as the paper isn’t thick enough. How much of a deboss into the paper you get will depend on the cardstock. The BetterPress Cotton Card* will give you the best results, but other cotton watercolour papers will also work quite well. If you don’t care about the letterpress effect, just use your usual card and you will get a beautiful crisp image to work with, just no deboss.

I added a sentiment using the fab July 2025 Anchors Away Clear Stamp set* and coordinating die set* (currently available to order in the Past Kits section at Spellbinders*)
