Happy 2026! Wishing you the most colour-filled and crafty year imaginable. To start the year, I have some fun news! There is an exciting new challenge at AALL & Create and I am on the team bringing you inspiration to play along.

So many talented and inspiring crafters with a variety of styles. There is so much inspiration coming your way over the next few months. For full details on how to join in with the AALL & Create Memorydex Challenge head to the AALL & Create Fanatics Facebook Group.

Here’s the list of challenge prompts!

I do have a Memorydex card to share today, but first I have my freshly assembled and decorated XL Memorydex Card Holder to share with you! AALL & Create sell these MDF kits which are really easy to put together, ready to fill with all of the cards you create!

AALL & Create Memorydex storage box altered using papers and rub ons.

I used some of the beautiful heavyweight designer papers from AALL & Create and one of their rub-on packs to decorate the exterior of my box. I opted to leave the inside plain, but you could line it with paper, or paint it.

My first Memorydex card was created before Christmas, and would work for prompt #22 on the list: Winter. This is my first ever Memorydex card and I have the bug now… Like tags, the small defined space is lovely to work within, and it gives you a little playground for creative fun without pressure.

Winter Memorydex Card featuring AALL & Create Janet Klein Hey Frosty and Oh Christmas tree stamp sets, Memorydex die set and papers.

I wasn’t entirely delighted with the fact that I used an acrylic paint pen to add some snow to my tree, then decided to add glitter…and the glue reacted with the pen creating a yellow tint to the finished tree! But alas, it was almost Christmas and I was out of time to fix it. The scene is still cute, and I adore the little character.
