Hello and welcome to my blog!

A group of us got together and thought it would be fun to introduce you to different stampers, their styles and blogs. Perhaps you’ll find an exciting new artist that you would like to visit again!

We are called – Stampers United – and today we are having a Blog Hop!  Not only will you be able to visit some hopefully unfamiliar blogs, but there are prizes along the way with a fabulous Grand Prize at the end!

In order to have a chance at winning the Grand Prize, you must gather a phrase along the Blog Hop.  Each stamper will have a particular word listed on their blog and as long as you visit them in order, you will have the phrase at the end.  Once you have the phrase, return to the Stampers United blog and enter your name into Mr. Linky.

Claudia will pick the Grand Prize winner and announce the winner on Monday 28th September on her blog – Pretty Pressings – and once you have contacted her – ask you for the phrase. If correct you have won the prize – if not Claudia will pick a second person, and so on until the phrase is correct.

To start off, you must begin at the Stampers United Blog (and you can read the full rules there)! If you have not started there, I suggest you go back and begin again.  You don’t want to miss out on that fabulous Grand Prize!

If you have arrived here from Claudia’s blog – Pretty Pressings – then you are on the correct course.

Now, onto my project!  I decided to create a fun Halloween project for the blog hop.  I’m desperately trying to break my habit of always making square cards!  I don’t often make 3D projects, so I’m pretty happy with how this turned out.

Stampers United Blog Hop - Quixotic Cards: Fangtastic Halloween Treat Boxes

I created this set by tweaking one of Lauren Meader’s “My Timeless Templates”.  I wanted my boxes a little larger, so I played around with my Scor-Pal and the size until I was happy.

The images and sentiments are all from The Greeting Farm’s Spooktacular stamp set (available at Quixotic Paperie).  Colouring and airbrushing has been done with Copic markers, and the usual list is at the end of the post!

The papers are from the My Mind’s Eye “Boo To You” 12×12 pack (available at Quixotic Paperie along with matching brads and ribbon)
