Welcome to the second Quixotic Paperie DT Mini Challenge!  The last month or so has flown by. 

As with the first DT Mini Challenge, the Quixotic Paperie Design Team and I have all taken the same image, and created our own individual projects using it.  So, you will be seeing one image in several different styles.  I always find it fascinating seeing the different things people do with the same image, so I find this really fun!  Make sure you read to the end to find out how you can win this month’s prize!

This time we’ve chosen to use one of the gorgeous Elisabeth Bell designs from Susana’s Custom Art and Card Design (SCACD Stamps): Danni (available HERE).  I love this image, there’s such a great sense of movement, and she truly comes to life with colour.

For my card, I’ve gone with the gorgeous Indian Summer papers by Basic Grey (available HERE).  These will be showing up quite a bit in my projects, I’m totally in love!  Such fantastic, rich colours.  Yum!

As you can see, I’ve gone for an Easel Card design.  I saw Suzanne Dean’s fantastic card recently and knew I just had to have a go myself.  Love the results.  I will definitely be making more of these, they are so easy to do, and they look fab!  Check out Suzanne’s post on the Magnolialicious blog HERE for info on how to make one yourself!

Colouring has been done with Copics, and yep, the list is at the end of the post as usual!  I’ve accented the image with those gorgeous Shimmerz paints (available HERE).

The buttons used are from a Very Berry pack (available HERE) these coordinate perfectly with the BG Indian Summer papers.  The sentiment is from the Hero Arts Clear Design Anytime Messages set (available HERE).
