Now, on to the main event for today!  The very first Quixotic Challenge is now open, and the DT and I are all very excited, especially as we have a couple of talented guests joining us this week!

 

Our very first challenge is a nice simple one, in honour of my birthday!

Quixotic Challenge #1: Birthdays: C.C. Designs Pixie Pets Birthday Bash Card

 

As you can see, I’ve used the adorable Pixie Pets – Birthday Bash set from C.C. Designs (available HERE).  The adorable dog and bear have been coloured using Copic markers, a list of which can be found at the end of this post.  I layered up the balloon on foam pads for a little dimension, and the tops of their hats have been accented with Ice Stickles for a little sparkle!

The papers are from the very lovely My Mind’s Eye Just Dreamy: Star Bright 12×12 paper and accessories pack (available HERE).  Ribbons are Stampin’ Up, and I’ve used the Bow-Easy template (available HERE) to tie the little bow on the side!
