Finally, a card!  My mojo appears to be tiptoeing back…

This one is for today’s Quixotic Challenges challenge – “Seeing Stars” – set by yours truly!  Basically, we want to see projects incorporating stars in some way.  Let your imagination run riot with this one, you could interpret it in so many ways!

Lately I have been totally inspired by Amy Young’s work.  I was already in love with TGF’s Anya, but Amy has me wanting to do so many fun things!  If you aren’t familiar with Amy’s blog, check it out HERE.  So, my card today is very much a nod to Amy and her brilliant altered Anya projects!

Rockstar Anya in Jingle Bell Rock!

I’ve used my favourite Anya – “Rockstar Anya” (available HERE) and given her Ian’s santa hat from the “Xmas Sweeties” set (available HERE).  How fab does she look rocking out all festive?

The papers are Stampin’ Up.  The star border is a Martha Stewart Edger Punch (available HERE).  The Kraft cardstock, sentiment layer and the holly leaves have been given a lovely shimmer using Shimmerz Spritz in “Baby’s Breath” (available HERE).  The holly leaves are another MS punch, and I’ve used some 4mm flat backed pearls in red for the berries (available HERE).  Ribbon is from the ribbon kit available HERE.

That’s all for now!  Hope you enjoyed checking out my project.  Do make sure you check out the rest of the DT projects for this week’s challenge, and we hope to see you join in!
