The wonderful and totally inspirational Amy Young emailed me a few weeks ago and asked me if I’d like to host a Club Anya Monday Mania challenge.  Errr. Yessssss!  Actually, joining in with the challenges at Club Anya is something I’ve intended to do for ages, so this was great fun for me!

I’m a complete bookworm, and aside from collecting all sorts of crafty stash, I collect books.  Books inspire me, books make me happy, a good book helps to pick me up when I’m feeling down, helps to soothe me when I’m restless.  That has been the case for as long as I can remember.  So, with that in mind, the challenge I chose to set is simple – BE INSPIRED BY A BOOK!

For my card I chose to use Spotlight Anya.  Love her, and whenever I see her I think of a childhood favourite – Pollyanna.  I guess the expression on Anya’s face just looks…so glad!!  As a child I pretty much read Pollyanna until the book fell apart, and it’s a story I often think of fondly.
