I decided to have a go at the Friday Sketchers challenge this week – Friday Sketchers 41. Kristine’s sketch was just perfect for my first card using the new Gorjuss stamps from Sugar Nellie. Actually, I have a feeling I will be using this sketch again and again.

The image has been coloured with Copic Markers after being stamped on SU Whisper White paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I love the Prima crystal flourishes everyone uses, but can never bring myself to spend on them! I thought a while ago that I should create my own, as I have a huge stash of crystals, but fiddling with gluing each one just seemed really unappealing. Recently however, I bought a BeJeweler hotfix tool for a different project, and used it with some lovely Jet Hematite hotfix crystals to create the flourish design on the inside of this card. I used one of the Bazzill InStitchz sewing templates as a guide for placement. What do you think?

Sadly I still have a poorly man moping around, and am not feeling so great myself. I also spent yesterday moving all my craft stuff into our small spare room, so am absolutely knackered! Will try and post a few pics of the new craft space and another Gorjuss card tomorrow!
