As soon as I saw Carole’s wonderful sketch for this week’s Friday Sketchers challenge, I knew exactly which stamp I wanted to use – Lemonade Anyone? designed by Elisabeth Bell for the new Belles & Whistles range.  So far, this image is my personal favourite, and it is a joy to colour.

Isn’t she gorgeous?  As usual, I’ve coloured the image with Copic Markers and used the airbrushing system for the background.  The full list of Copic colours can be found at the end of this post.

The flowers have been covered in Shimmerz for that essential sparkle, and I have added some of the gorgeous silver tone flower bead caps to the centres.

News from Quixotic Paperie:

Unfortunately, due to the range of products now stocked, it now isn’t feasible to offer free P&P on orders over £25.  The threshold for free UK P&P is now £40. 

The good news is that P&P rates have been revised for all destinations (including Europe and the US), and while still based on the weight of packages, have been reduced to offer a much better deal for everyone. 

More “Good News”: the price on a number of charm designs has now been reduced, in line with a better deal from our supplier. 

For those of you waiting on the Elisabeth Bell for Susana’s Custom Art and Card Design stamps, they are currently sitting in UK customs.  So it shouldn’t be too long before they arrive here and make their way to their new homes with you!  Pre-order on these is still open – here.

And finally, in “Other News”: three Shimmerz colours are being discontinued, so grab them while you can:  Mint, Mocha, Indigo.  New Shimmerz colours are being released in September, and will be available to buy here at Quixotic Paperie.  More news as it comes in!
