Today I’m sharing a card I made a few weeks ago, for my partner’s Mother on her 60th birthday.
I covered chipboard numbers with patterned paper, filed and inked the edges, and covered with Diamond Glaze. The flowers (one fabric, one paper, both white) were airbrushed in pink with Copic markers, and then painted with Blingz Gold Glimmer paint by Shimmerz.
Just a tiny hint of stamping on this card, as I used the gorgeous Baroque Motifs set from Stampin Up on the inside of the card. The sentiment and framed word on the front of the card were both computer generated.
As this was such a special card (and quite bulky!), I went a step further and created a fairly embellished box envelope, complete with velcro fastening. The flowers on the back of the envelope were done in the same way as on the front of the card.
Thank you for visiting, I hope you enjoyed this post!
Stamps: Baroque Motifs by Stampin Up.
