Tilda – Mon Amie – Just Magnolia

It seems like forever since I played with my Magnolia Stamps, so I decided to slip a Tilda card in for this week’s Just Magnolia challenge,  which is the theme “Friendship”.  

This has to be one of my absolute favourite Tilda images; such a great size to colour, and so very sweet.  She has of course, been coloured with my trusty Copics, a list of which you will find at the end of this post (same old, same old!).  You can’t really tell from the photos, but the flowers in Tilda’s basket have been coloured using Shimmerz in “BubbleGum”, and her wings have been covered in Shimmerz “Angel Wings”.  You can find a great selection of Shimmerz Paints at Quixotic Paperie.

For the layout, I followed a sketch from the challenge forum at Splitcoast Stampers: SC241.  I think I’ll be dropping in more regularly, I’ve never participated in the sketch challenges over there before, and there are some fabulous ones.

Papers are from the delicious K&Co “Madeleine” 8.5″x8.5″ pad.  I cut the “Mon Amie” wording on the inside from one of the sheets.  The edges of the layers have been covered in Shimmerz Blingz – Pixie Dust for a subtle sparkle. 

Ribbons are taffeta from Stampin’ Up and Pink Crochet Ribbon from Quixotic Paperie.  The charm is also from Quixotic Paperie.
