I’ve got a couple of matching projects to share with you today.  As I mentioned in an earlier post, although I love Halloween, most of our family and friends do not.  So, like many people, I have no use at all for Halloween cards, although they are so much fun to make, I still make some anyway, just for fun.  There are so many cute and fun images to play with at this time of year, and the recent C.C. Designs stamps are no exception.

While most of us probably won’t be sending Halloween cards (here in the UK at least), I know lots of people out there have children who enjoy Halloween, and there are no doubt some of you who like me, are just big kids!  So, I created these fun little hangers with that in mind.  How cute would these be for a child’s room, or for your own craftroom?

The images on both hangers have been coloured with Copics, and you will find a list at the end of this post along with a full recipe list for both.

This first hanger uses the Witch Emma image you saw earlier this week in THIS POST.  She is so cute and fun to colour, and her outfit looks amazing and totally witchy after the Shimmerz treatment!

 Seriously.  Shimmerz Spritz Licorice.  LOVE!

The second hanger uses the adorable Mummy Trevor.  How cute is he?  This hanger was created following the challenge over at Crafty Catz this week.  Quixotic Paperie is sponsoring this week’s challenge, so to be in with the chance of winning the prize, pop over and join in!

Both hangers use wooden star blanks, which I’m thrilled to say I now have in stock at Quixotic Paperie, along with a host of other wooden shapes in various sizes!  You can check them all out HERE.

The wooden stars have been covered with silver acrylic paint, which I allowed to dry and then covered with Shimmerz Spritz in Licorice.  Pretty quick and really simple to do.  The holes for the ribbon were punched out using my Crop-a-dile, which cut through the thin wood easily.

There’s still plenty of time to create a fun project like this for Halloween.  And if Halloween isn’t your thing, I’ve definitely got some of these planned for Christmas decorations!
