November has been a crazy month, and I’m not quite sure where most of it has gone!

I’ll start this post with an apology, as it should have been posted at the start of the month, and somehow became completely forgotten during the ups and downs of the last few weeks.

And now, a belated but heartfelt thank you to the lovely Rosette, our Miss October Guest Designer for Quixotic Paperie.  Rosette created some gorgeous cards during her month with us, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her.

Here’s a slideshow showing her work:

Rosette is also on the Belles ‘n Whistles DT, so if you’re ever looking for inspiration in using the Belles ‘n Whistles stamps, look no further!

And now a belated welcome and a thank you to Martine, our lovely Miss November who has so far done a fabulous job, although she has been poorly for the past couple of weeks.  Martine has also joined us as a permanent member of the Quixotic Challenges DT.

Here’s a little bit about Martine, although I’m sure many of you are familiar with her gorgeous work!

My name is Martine and I live just outside Belfast in Northern Ireland.  Although I have always been crafty since I was a little girl (who insisted she got crafty goodies for Christmas and Birthdays etc and still to this day things haven’t changed) I only started to make cards when I was 18 after seeing some handmade Christmas cards that the family had received.  I fell in love and was determined to make my own, now although my first attempts were shockingly terrible I stuck at it because I loved my new hobby and enjoyed every minute that I was creating cards.

Four years later I think I can safely say that I have improved to the point where I am not embarrassed of my cards anymore (well at least for most of them anyway lol) and this is mostly because of all the wonderful blogs I have visited and gained so much inspiration from and also because of the many friends I have made along the way who continue to give me help and support and encourage me to stick at it (especially when I am in a major crafty block).

I’m sure you will all agree; Martine creates absolutely gorgeous cards!  If you haven’t visited her before today, pop over and take a peek!

I will be back at lunchtime with a card (don’t fall off your seats in shock) for today’s Quixotic Challenge!

Before I go, a couple of new items have arrived in at Quixotic Paperie!  We now have some of the very yummy Prima Lace in stock, the gorgeous Prima Calypso Poinsettia Tins (if ever a tin was destined for altering…), Prima Holiday Lights Poinsettias, Cosmo Cricket 6×6 Nutmeg Mini Decks and restocks of the popular Bazzill Basics Tulle!
