Today’s card is for Paul’s brother and sister-in-law.  I’ve used an Elzybells stamp which I just couldn’t resist.  Elzybells have been a favourite stamp company of mine since I started stamping.  I don’t often get round to playing with their stamps these days, but just have to slip the odd one in now and again!

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

I’ve gone for a very non-traditional look to this one, using the delightful Basic Grey “Eskimo Kisses” papers (available HERE) together with Kraft cardstock, a Martha Stewart Ornaments edger punch (available HERE), Shimmerz “Angel Wings” (available HERE) and some yummy purple ribbon from my stash.  The image layer has been cut out with Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Five (available HERE)Stickles (available HERE) make an appearance on the hat trim, and I’ve used Flowersoft for the snow.

The Bazzill Basics Jewel Templates (Borders and Flowers & Flourishes) and Adhesive 3mm & 4mm Jewels have come out to play again (available HERE and HERE) as I have gone totally OTT with the bling!  I think it works though…

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

The sentiment is from one of the latest Magnolia Stamps collections.  I love all of the stamps from the Winter/Christmas collections, but typically haven’t managed to make any cards using them yet…Tsk!

Walking In A Winter Wonderland

That’s it for today!  Three more cards to finish.  Will I make it?!?!  Back tomorrow to show you another one.  Nearly there now!

I’ll be back later with the lowdown on the Christmas candy which will be available over on the Quixotic Challenges blog this afternoon!
