Saturday again already!  I’m pretty happy about that, after a slightly manic week with lots of ups and downs.  I’m going to be indulging in some serious colouring therapy over the next couple of days.

Today brings with it the start of a new Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps challenge.  This week it’s pretty simple – PAPER PIECING!  Yep, that’s it!  Just paper piece your image by stamping and cutting part of it from designer paper and you’re good to go.

Enter the challenge using a Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps stamp and you could win the stamp featured on this week’s hostess’ card.  See the challenge blog post for more details.

My card today features one of the latest stamps – LOLA LOLLIPOP (available direct from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps OR in the UK from Quixotic Paperie).  Love that hair, and her skirt was fun to paper piece.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured with ShinHan Touch Twin Markers.  I also stamped on designer paper for the paper pieced skirt and used my markers to add shading.

I cut the image layer out using a Spellbinders Grand Labels One die. The designer paper is from my stash of papers.  The diecut accents are the MFT Die-Namics Photo Corners and Button Quartet dies.  The sentiment comes with the image stamp.

Thank you for stopping by!  Hope you’ll join in with this week’s challenge, we love seeing your Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps creations.
