A slightly belated Happy New Year to all my readers! I hope that 2014 brings much joy and success to all of you.

My year isn’t quite off to a flying start, as I am still plagued with a cold generously shared with us at Christmas by one of our nieces.  It has honestly been the worst cold I’ve had in years.  Brilliant!  Still, soldiering on and getting stuff done.  “Project Clear-Out” has been in progress for a few months now, and I’ve set the end of January as the final date for getting all of the unwanted stuff sorted and out one way or another.  Serious progress is being made, so we’re on track.  Then there are plans for new projects and goals – we want to make 2014 an epic year, so watch out! 😉

To get the ball rolling here on my blog, I’ve got a card to share.  I actually created this one in 2013 for Papercraft Essentials magazine, but haven’t had chance to share it yet.  There will be a few of these to come, while I prepare behind the scenes for some fun stuff, so bear with me. 😉

This is my card featuring some of the stamps from the Tiddly Inks – Thanks Fairy Much clear stamp set, available from my store Quixotic Paperie. I used the separate fairy and toadstool stamps, masked and stamped to create a little scene. I stamped on my favourite marker colouring paper Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured using a combination of Touch Twin and Copic markers.

Tiddly Inks - Thanks Fairy Much Stamp Set

This is probably my favourite card of the set I created for Papercraft Essentials.  Love how the image turned out, and the fairy is just too cute! Plus I have a thing for toadstools/mushrooms, so…

Very simple card, created using just the stamp set, markers, some little iridescent flatback beads and Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities dies. When creating cards, I usually tend to prefer clean and simple backgrounds that don’t fight with the image for attention.

Thank you for dropping by today, I hope you enjoyed my card!
