I think we’re all struggling a little at the moment. Hopefully in some small way, continued crafty inspiration helps. We could all use a little colour and a little normality each day. Today I’m sharing a little colouring I did yesterday, which really did help me to unwind. I filmed the process, so you can watch my Derwent Procolour colouring video below.

Free Spirits Card

This stamp from Purple Onion Designs really gives me those Spring/Summer vibes. Love the little frog with his outstretched arms, just enjoying the ride!

Stamps Used: Purple Onion Free Spirits, Mama Elephant Mini Everyday Messages

I stamped the image on Bazzill Basics Kraft card* before colouring with Derwent Procolour coloured pencils(see below for full list). The frame was die cut using an MFT Stitched Rectangle frames die, from Lawn Fawn 6×6 paper.

In my capacity as a design team member for Purple Onion Designs, I receive stamps to work with from the company. I also have a collection of Purple Onion Designs stamps that I have purchased myself. Whether using stamps I have been sent, or stamps I have purchased, all opinions and creative decisions remain my own. I only work with companies/use products that I love.
