I’m back today with more cards to share featuring the latest Spellbinders Club of the Month products. You know I love autumn, so the “Autumn Tales” theme was bound to be a favourite in my craft room.
This adorable fox is the September All Clubs Crate exclusive die set “Hello Foxy”, which includes the fox and some scene building elements, including a sunflower, which I used along with the other two sizes of sunflower you get in the September Large Die of the Month “Sunflowers & Showers”. I also used the September 3D Embossing Folder of the Month “Autumn Bark” which gives a really nice textured background. The hot foiled sentiment is from an older favourite press plate set which you will find linked below with all the other supplies.
This card features the September Small Die of the Month Club “Owl Be There” which includes the cute owl, the tree stump and foliage, plus a moon and stars which I did not use on this card as I opted for a foiled and embossed background. I added some die cut grass from another Spellbinders set, and a sentiment from the September Clear Stamp & Die of the Month set “Stuffed with Gratitude”.
I used the Small Die of the Month again here, this time in an envelope shaped card using the Spellbinders Envelope of Wonder die set. I love a shaped card and I’m pretty sure I saw Jennifer McGuire use this envelope in the same way a while ago. Unfortunately I think the Envelope of Wonder collection has been discontinued now, but you could do something similar using a scoreboard to create an envelope, or another envelope die.
Finally I used the other crate exclusive die “Too Much Turkey”. So cute. I also used the September Embossing Folder of the Month “Harvest Marks” on this one, along with a sentiment from the September Press & Foil of the Month “Thankful Friends”. I also added stars from the small die of the month set.
Obviously we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK, but I saw that Sarah Leese (definitely check her out for fantastic pop up and interactive cards) added a Santa hat to turn him into a Christmas turkey which was really fun, so I might have to do that and use him on some Christmas cards!
