A couple of weeks ago I posted some CardLab memorydex style cards featuring die cuts from the Spellbinders August “Crafty Boo Crew” club kits, which you can see HERE. Today I’ve got a couple more CardLab cards to share with you, featuring some other die cuts from Spellbinders. I kept the same colour scheme going, and I’ve decorated one of the CardLab boxes in the same papers/colours to match. I’ll pop up a photo/flip through of the box in another post when I’ve filled it! All currently available products will be linked in the handy supplies list towards the end of this post.
Last year I purchased and very much enjoyed opening the Craftoween box from Spellbinders. I just didn’t get around to using the dies before Halloween. Although the box is no longer available, I still wanted to play with the dies this year.
The cards were both created using the Esther Glas Torn Edges CardLab etched dies from Spellbinders and papers from Prima Marketing Inc. I love creating this style of project, small format, and just for me! They are really fun to keep and flip through.

Love this little vampire. Although I’m now looking at him, I’m thinking if I removed the teeth and cape, and gave him a blue shirt, he’d be an uncharacteristically flamboyant Spock from Star Trek. That could be a fun birthday card for a Star Trek fan. He’s the only die cut on this card from the Craftoween box.
I extended the height of the CardLab die cut by die cutting and layering an extra piece. Really simple to do, and I like having a nice sturdy card.

This second card features the poison bottle die from last year’s Craftoween box, and the brilliant Chompster monster from the Just Add Cake Birthday Cardmaking Kit box, which is still available to buy. You can see a birthday card I created using Chompster and other products from that box HERE. The witch hat die cut is from the August Large Die of the Month kit and the bats and spiderweb are from Yana’s Halloween City Holiday Decorations die set.
