Yana Smakula’s City Holiday die set was one of my favourite releases from Spellbinders last year. It creates such an elegant die cut house design, and there have been a few add-ons during the past year that really step it up and allow for so much customisation. This month a couple more add-on die sets have been released which give you even more options, and I have been having so much fun!
I’ve created a few cards so far, and this first one had to be Halloween themed, adding die cuts from the new sets to the recently released Halloween sets to create a gorgeously detailed shaped card with interactive elements. All the supplies are linked in the table below!
This just makes my little spooky heart happy! I went for a pink-o-ween look again, and I love it. You can see previous Halloween cards I created using these dies HERE. I think the new Mansard Roof die set just really steps up and completes the look of the building for me.
I added the bats on some card spinners to give a little fun interactive detail.
Creating the shaped card look was really easy. I just created a card based and trimmed it to fit most of the back of the completed house. I think it was 3.5″ x 5.5″.
